Although we couldn't be with family in Minnesota this Easter, we still got to enjoy some fun family time with Aunt Mary and Uncle Kevin in Pawleys Island! Hugs to everyone- miss you lots! : )

Trying to bowl with the bike wheels in the parking lot as Erik attempts putting our bikes back together so we can enjoy a long bike ride!

So maybe this is normal.... but I have never seen a turtle SPREAD EAGLE while sunning itself. We saw this while we were biking and I just had to stop and take a picture. We laughed so hard, but hey- the turtle looks happy!

The gang (minus Kevin) out for a drink at Franks - our favorite in Pawleys Island. The two in the middle are Darlene and Michael- great friends of Mary and Kevin's and they manage the hammock shop (owned by Mary/Kev). Fun times!
I think Erik would try to steal Luc if he weren't so big : ) They are best buddies- just hanging out on Kevin/Mary's front porch in the picture. I captured the "moment" they were having.
Getting in the last bit of beach time that we can before we have to go home....pretty hair. Must have been a bit windy.
Wind surfers taking a break. Boring picture, but I thought the beach looked pretty... it's at the point of Pawley's Island.
Our friend the starfish minus one limb. We would have done surgery, but couldn't find his other hand/leg/whatever you call it.

Well it's about time!!! (jk) Good pics and love the comments special Kyra! Looks like you had a great time as usual visiting PI. The biking looked like fun and nice job with the bald eagle shot. Are you sure the turtle wasn't dead?!? Erik would need to get an even bigger SUV if he ever wanted to "steal Luc"! Okay, I'll patiently wait for the Asheville update now too!!! Love ya Gilly!

A) Starfish have the ability to regenerate which means that when a limb has been broken off, they can grow one back. So I'm glad you didn't attempt to give it surgery, because in a week or so he'll be just fine!!! (any more questions, ask Andrew Dallman)
B) I was wondering what the string of poop was coming out of the bald eagle - nice try tithy! You little sneaky-sneakersons!
C) turtles stick out their legs like so most often after breeding... so too bad you weren't there a bit earlier and you could have seen turtle sex

I saw the string attached to the eagle - Dana maybe didn't have her glasses on. Thanks to teacher Jana we now know more about turtles breeding habits and starfish limbs. Always learning and that is good. Missed you guys at our big celebration last night - another happy couple enjoying life together like the sneakerson's in NC. Miss NC just won Miss USA - thought you wanted to know that. Glad you are staying safe while you are exploring and exercising - good habits!! love ya
i DID see that miss NC won miss USA. erik was so proud- he couldn't be prouder. lol... he makes fun of it. hey we can celebrate her just like we celebrate NC winning the college bball tourney. : )
