I come home from work very sweaty and stinky, yet still find it necessary to show Toobs the CORRECT way to ball melons (before taking my shower). She clearly wasn't doing it correctly.

She really loves it when I tell her how to do things MY way : ) Million dollar face, Yani!

Jana threw up in her mouth when she saw that I was using a black billfold and a brown purse in the MIDDLE OF SUMMER!!! Sometimes she wonders how we are sisters. Don't worry... she came to my rescue!

On our way to Pawleys Island, SC... We left Charlotte by 730am and stopped halfway. Yes, it was truly 91 degrees and 930am! Such a great beach day!

Welcome to Pawleys Island- just arrived at Mary and Kevin's place and Luc excitedly greeted us. He's a tad bigger than Pearl and Gus, but it didn't take Mom and Toobs long to warm up at all!

So picture this: We get to the hotel in Charleston and Dana gets excited when she opens the hotel room door and wants to take pictures. Erik, knowing this could take a while, takes a beer out of the cooler and makes himself at home in the hallway... he knows his mother in law!!!

So what do I do? The natural Al-like thing to do... sneak in the room before she can get pics off and start jumping on beds!

Such a beautiful Charleston evening... but we are getting hungry..........

SO LETS EAT! We ate at the famous Hyman's Seafood (insert joke here, Joey).

Inside the restaurant... it was huge and very unique

I HUNG WITH THE BIG DAWGS (I tend to be a gramma sometimes and poop out early)... we stayed out until almost 1am and really experienced Charleston night life on a Saturday night! We thought our drinks were pretty, and we took a picture. Yes we had already had a few by this point : )

We had been walking around Charleston allllllllllll night and needed a lift home, so we found this surfer biker dude to bike us home. I think we were heavy- he was standing up for most of the ride. It was great though!

This was our tour guide for our carraige ride- he showed us around Charleston for an hour. His friends (mules, Laverne and Shirley) were great sports in the heat!

FRIED GREEN TOMATOES! Mom was so excited to try them.... "When in Rome..." Right ma? They actually weren't bad- just didn't taste the best after being in the heat all day.
Cooling off with some drinks before we head back to Charlotte. Erik found the "Noisy Oyster" bar while we were all shopping at the market. By the time we found him, he was on his 4th beer. Yes, a weekend with three Kingsley girls will drive anyone to drink! lol Thanks for being such a good sport on girls weekend, hun! You earned those Sunday beers!
However, the beers led Erik to think he could climb a palm tree. Well, instead of climbing it, we got giant splinters in our hands instead. It throbbed, stung and hurt real bad- took the buzz right away. LOL Love you hun!

What better way to end a fun family weekend than with a POPCORN PARTY???
