70s & sunny = happy Seversons!

Erik getting our bikes tuned up and ready to go for our first bike ride around Charlotte.

Ready and rarin' to go!
Erik with his new bike!
kyra: "Honey take the picture with your helmet on!"
erik, pouting: "Awwwww man do I have to?"
kyra: "Yep- it'll be cute and extra manly!"

Erik in his glory- relaxing and grilling (with a G&T) after a fun filled day in the sunshine

I was pretty happy too! ...sitting like the lady that i am : )

YUMMMMMMMMM marinated chicken with asparagus (yes Erik is mid-chew in this picture). So tasty- Erik is skilled when it comes to grilling! Don't mind our "Happy Thanksgiving" napkins... hey, they still do their job!

Down the road (still in the Ayrsley community) at one of our favorite restaurants, Salsas, there were some outdoor games set up! Bean bags and hangy balls (I think the correct term is some form of golf... but I just call it hangy balls). Needless to say, I dominated at the hangy ball game. However Erik did beat me in bean bags.
Here I am mid-throw.

Great form Erik.... just not good enough to beat your wife!

A wider view of the area... it's hard to see, but there is a giant chess set-up in the background too! If we knew how to play, we probably would have tried that out too. What a great way to spend a beautiful evening!

Yep, Sunday was an A-Okay day.... Relaxation by the pool, walk around the community, and dinner outdoors at Just Fresh. Don't get us wrong- we have responsibilities too: WE CLEANED today as well! : ) Love to all and hope this brought some sunshine and warmth your way!

LOOKS LIKE LOTS OF FUN!!! So our rainy cool weekend in Charlotte was stuck in between two beautiful ones - what luck!?! I can't believe that you got to play "hangy balls" at Salsa's too! Nice new wheels Erik - and helmet too! Thanks for enjoying the abundant sunshine extra much for us too though. Hey - we dodged a blizzard this weekend and only got a couple of inches wet sloppy snow so I guess we are lucky after all?!?

I knew it would take a couple of the next generation to really make us wonder why we are in Minnesota??? Just think what us mommies would be like if we could have that weather year round??? Best medicine in my book. I'm thinkin that medical insurance should cover 75 degree weather! I'm glad you guys are enjoying your reason for getting out of dodge. Enjoy. from, all of the vitamin deficient midwesterners! love and miss ya!
